Updated: Jul 26

It is always amazing to get a big feature on one of the wedding blogs but Rock My Wedding will always by extremely special to me! I have followed for many many years and used it to plan my own wedding - so seeing my work on there really does feel like a dream come true!

Styled Shoot's like this are created to inspire couples planning their weddings and for suppliers to 'show off' what we can do and unleash our creativity. The team on this shoot were absolutely incredible and all brought so much to the vision - we hope you are inspired and enjoy these images and all they have to offer.

I've included Rock My Wedding's words and a few behind the scenes insights along with a few of the images from the shoot below!

'There is something so mesmerising about the night sky, and it’s lovely when a passion for all things Celestial is illustrated beautifully in wedding decor and details; including on the day stationery, an embroidered wedding dress and an impressive dried flower crescent moon installation. Add the rustic tones of autumn and the spectacular backdrop of Stoke Park in Northamptonshire and you have one hell of an inspiration shoot to pore over and pin.' RMW

Creating this image took a huge amount of team work - the boat was tethered with fishing wire so we could pull our wonderful model back in. Georgie, the amazing planner from Regency Weddings was almost in the water with her full body over the edge trying to move the boat to where I wanted it! Also poor Amber, our model, had to be sat on endless sheets of plastic to protect the beautiful Joanne Fleming dress from getting dirty.

'Moon and stars celestial wedding decor and details will always have a special place in my heart. They always look so enchanting however they are displayed and used. I particularly love the use of dried foliage to form the crescent moon over the outdoor table scape. And who can deny that the pale blue wedding dress with white embroidery isn’t an absolute knockout? As are all the gowns and flowers adorning the pavilion at Stoke Park. There are many more elements to enjoy and marvel at including geode name place settings, and a fabulous cake with iced flowers.' RMW

Isn't this cake and whole table just incredible? Charlene from The Cherry Tree Cakerie has been on my recommended suppliers list for years now - and we also work together on my Cake Smash shoots - which always seems criminal to let a baby smash one of her amazing creations! Every time I look at this cake I notice more and more detail and stunning attention to detail that Charlene is so well known for!

The hanging moon was created by The Cotswold Florists along with all the other amazing floral creations of the day. I loved how elegant all of their work was it added so much romance to the look of the day. The bright colours really brought together the vision and pushed the boundaries of what it means to have a 'celestial' look.

The table was all put together by Georgie from Regency Weddings with the ladies of The Cotswold Florists adding in their expertise. One of my favourite things about working on these styled shoots is the team work - when top wedding suppliers come together and support each other to create somethings absolutely magical.

The cape on this Andrew Hawkes dress was every photographers dream. I shot the image through a copper pipe which is what creates the orange haze and adds to the dream like quality. Amber did an amazing job to make this look effortless considering how many directions I was throwing at her and dealing with the wind that was pretty fierce and blowing the cape all over.

All of the accessories from the shoot are by Miss. Clemmie Bridal who I have worked with a few times now. Her work is always show stopping and this crown is no exception!

I can't talk about this shoot without mentioning my dream team - Laura from Laura Caroll Makeup Artistry and Holly at Hair By Holly. These ladies are my go-to, trust them with my life (and my own Wedding hair), always there for me and always creating absolute perfection. I couldn't do what I do with out them and this shoot was another example of that. So many of our Bride's book all 3 of us for their weddings which we absolutely love!

Thank you so much to Rock My Wedding and to the entire team for their immense creativity and all the trust they put in me to realise our vision.

I hope you have been inspired and transported into our dream - I highly recommend every single one of the suppliers on this shoot if you are looking for your own wedding. Their passion and creativity knows no bounds!
