Congratulations to Kathryn & Joel who were married at Kirtlington Park in November. The day was absolutely beautiful and styled to perfection by Wedding planner Studio Sorores. It really was such a pleasure to capture every moment.

Kathryn started her day by getting ready in the Bridal suite surrounded by her best friends, sisters and Mom. The mood was wonderfully relaxed as Katy and her team got the ladies ready.
I absolutely love capturing Bridal preparations - the nerves, the excitement and the final moments before you say I do! So many month and even years of planning have lead you to this moment. And as you sit down to have your hair and makeup done you are forced to sit still for a moment... to sit with just your own thoughts as your vows, plans, every last detail races through your mind.
The gents got ready down the road at an Air BnB - and were captured by my lovely second shooter Emily. I always love it when couples add on a second shooter and we get a glimpse of what the groom preparations looked like. A far cry from the ladies always...
Like only sisters can... The perfect look to walk down the aisle I think!
These flowers were just so stunning! I could have photographed them all day! I always try to capture as many details as I can - your shoes, earrings, the ribbon trailing down elegantly. All the tiny things that made up your perfect day and made it your own.
Gents! Real bow ties are HARD - and the morning of your wedding is not the time to learn! Seriously! Even youtube can't save you! ;) Although the struggle does make for good photos.
The little moments that matter... A proud proud father.
The final touches are added. Fresh flowers to match the Bouquet.
How glorious is this flower installation by Studio Sorores! Truly magnificent and the perfect centre piece to the day. I love how this room was transformed later for dancing and it gave these flowers a chance to feature again.
The lovely Jessie from Studio Sorores putting the final touches to the Groomsmen.
All ready to go... now we just need to add guests and the Bride and Groom!
When you get married in the winter you will be limited on light - often it is getting dark before you have even left your ceremony. We decided to capture a few of the 'Formal' posed portraits that the bride and groom wanted before we went into the ceremony to make sure they were captured perfectly and we could do so in a relaxed way. This was only made possible by a brilliant Hair and Makeup team who had everyone ready early and gave us that free time.
And there we have it - the room is set and the moment is here.
Mr and Mrs leave arm in arm and ready to head into their party!
The guests were all in Black Tie and it made for a gloriously elegant evening!
I always try to steal the Bride and Groom away during the drinks reception to capture a few portraits... It is a lovely moment for you to be by yourselves (ignore me!) for a second during the day. To take a deep breathe and enjoy a romantic walk around the grounds of your venue!
I will always follow your lead and only pose you as much or as little as you are comfortable with!
Time for formal portraits on the stairs!
